It seems that Square Enix made the correct decision in canceling this.

had been under development for six years starting from 2019, yet it was only

It was intended to be a
“Action role-playing game based on GPS technology” for smartphones and tablets
, following in the tradition set by games such as

, but it might have ended up playing more like

Unfortunately, Square Enix made the announcement of its cancellation today, though it seems like this decision was based on valid grounds.
The Kingdom Hearts mobile game has been canceled, which will enable the team to concentrate their efforts on developing Kingdom Hearts IV instead.
